Shylo is a clinical practicum student pursuing her Master of Social Work at Fort Hays State University. She has worked in diverse social work roles including child welfare, case management, child in-patient psychiatric treatment, and independent living services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Shylo works with all ages but especially enjoys helping teens and young adults. Throughout her academic and occupational path, Shylo has found a deep interest in supporting clients diagnosed with personality disorders utilizing a Dialectical Behavior Therapy approach.

Shylo hails from a small town in Western Kansas and espouses many of these values in her clinical practice. Shylo strives to be unbiased, empathetic, and understanding with everyone she encounters.
