Robert Collier, MSW Practicum Student

Robert is a Master of Social Work (MSW) student at the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare completing his clinical practicum at Oasis Counseling Services. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Kansas Wesleyan University and brings over 10 years of experience serving individuals, children, adolescents, and families in educational, behavioral health, community mental health, and juvenile justice settings.

Robert currently serves as a Youth and Family Services Specialist, where he collaborates with individuals, families, schools, courts, and community agencies to promote positive outcomes. His professional experience includes case management, crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, behavioral health, and family-centered interventions.

Robert is passionate about helping individuals and families build resilience, strengthen relationships, and achieve meaningful, lasting change. As a husband and father of two, Robert understands the importance of strong family relationships and is committed to creating a welcoming, supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. His clinical interests include trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral health, family systems, and personal growth.
