Licensed Master Social Worker
Alex is from a rural community in northwestern Kansas. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a master’s degree in social work in May of 2022. Alex’s passion lies with helping people improve their mental health and heal from trauma. Her experience includes working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and various types of abuse. She has worked and interned at a domestic and sexual violence advocacy center, a non-profit focused on providing therapeutic services to children and families victim to abuse, and a rural community mental health center.
Alex has worked with children, teenagers, and adults to help them manage their mental health symptoms and heal from their trauma. She has helped clients who have suffered from PTSD, anxiety and depressive disorders, and neurocognitive disorders. Alex also enjoys providing education on mental health, working with victims of trauma, and advocating for marginalized individuals.
